Houston's Home Base

About Cobo's

A Houston restaurant where Texas BBQ meets Mexican cuisine — in the heart of EaDo, steps from the city's biggest games.

The Story

Cobo's lives at the corner of two great Texas traditions: slow-smoked BBQ and Mexican cooking. That's how you end up with brisket quesadillas, birria tacos with consommé for dipping, and the Boudin Mac & Brisket Quesadilla — a mashup you won't find anywhere else in Houston. Each dish is crafted with passion and precision.

We set up in EaDo on purpose. This neighborhood is where Houston shows up — for soccer at Shell Energy Stadium, baseball at Daikin Park, conventions at the George R. Brown, concerts, festivals, and everything between. Cobo's is built to be the home base for all of it: wall-to-wall TVs, a full bar, room for your whole crew, and food worth showing up early for.

Locals, first-timers, visiting fans — pull up a chair. This is Houston's Home Base.
